The community garden at The Salvation Army’s Southlands Community Church is available to anyone who, regardless of skill level, lives in the Fairfield Park/Richmond West/Waverley Heights neighborhoods.

Each plot is free and priority is given to community members who don’t have a yard and those who have volunteered their time in the garden in the past.

Residents of the neighborhood can apply to grow their own garden vegetables in one of our community garden plots located at Southlands Community Church at
85 Keslar Road. This garden has 24 individual raised bed plots.

We are grateful to the Fort Garry Community Network and their financial grant from Healthy Together Now, and to Turf Boss for the construction of the garden.

Garden plots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
