OUR VISION:
Making Christ-like disciples among the nations in South Winnipeg and beyond We will declare His glory Among the Nations … in community, serving the community. We will be more than a friendly church, but a church where lasting friendships are built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ as our small groups reach out in love to our community. We will declare His glory Among the Nations’ … students, as we dedicate our resources to reaching and discipling the next generation of children, youth, and young adults for Christ. As a result, hundreds of students will come to know, love, serve and become fruitful followers of Jesus Christ through Southlands & its ministries by 2012. We will declare His glory Among the Nations … beyond us, as we leave the comfort of our “sofas” to go on mission with Jesus across the street and across the globe, healing hurts and meeting needs, raising finances for missions, and planting new congregations. OUR PURPOSE (ENDS):“Because of Southlands Community Church, the people of Winnipeg and surrounding area will increasingly come to know, love, serve, and become fruitful followers of Jesus Christ, to the glory of God.” Our Mission: Bringing the Love of Christ to Where You Are.
