9. Shut In Hamper Delivery Ministry Provides a hamper of prepared meals to those members of SCC or their immediate families that are recovering from illness or are in some form of family distress. Partners in Mission is the spring missions’ focus at Southlands. Highlights how The Salvation Army is preaching the gospel and serving suffering humanity. Throughout the year, SCC is involved in compiling gift bags for the Prostitution Diversion Program; supporting the Multicultural Family Centre; emergency assistance for families in need. Our worship teams require vocalists and instrumentalists to participate on one of our teams. Volunteers attend bi-weekly rehearsal & perform in Sunday worship. 21. The Church Board is made up of 7 members of the congregation. The Board’s primary role is to govern the Church and provide spiritual leadership along with our Pastors. Board members serve 2-year term appointments. Partners (members) in good standing may be nominated for appointment.
