Each Sunday Morning the kids are encouraged to join with the congregation for the opening worship time to celebrate the presence of God in a multi – generational setting. Following the opening worship time children are dismissed to participate in the following groups September through June.Nursery – Ages 0 – 2 This is a supervised nursery for children under age three covered by volunteers. It is also a place where parents are welcome to spend time with their little one when needed. Preschool – Ages 3 – 5 (kindergartens) meet in the preschool area for their own teaching time which includes bible stories, crafts, games and a snack. Elementary – Grades 1 – 4 meet in the elementary kidzpraize area off the foyer. These kids will experience an interactive teaching time combining today’s technology with various activities led by trained and capable teachers. Elementary – Grades 5 & 6 meet in their own classroom for a “Tween” focused teaching time that allows them to interact with their peers and build relationships with leaders.
Once a quarter children ages 3 – 12 join together for a special “movie day” and during summer months the schedule adjusts as well as the children join together for a multi – age program.
Teachers and helpers for the above programs volunteer their time once a month to lead the Children’s ministry. This ministry takes a roster of 40 volunteers monthly to run smoothly.
